Kingly Court

Kingly Court has helped London’s Carnaby Street to reclaim its 1960s reputation as the heart of swinging London (well, at least a vein of it, anyway). The three-tiered complex boasts a funky mix of established chains, independents, vintage and gift shops. The café-filled courtyard generates the most bustle, attracting custom to ground-level shops such as Vans and Lazy Oaf. Also check out the women’s boutique BirdCage. There are also outposts of Triyoga and Walk-In Backrub, and decent beauty treatments (manicures, waxing, facials) can be had at the Beauty Lounge. Food and drink options are plenty, from the 1940s themed cocktail bar Cahoots to Rum Kitchen Carnaby and healthy offerings from Detox Kitchen.

Venue name: Kingly Court
Address: Carnaby Street

A fabulous place to meet your friends for drinks or food! You have a ton of choices to choose from this charming little courtyard.

A hidden, little gem which is absolutely fantastic! Every time friends visit me I bring them here and every single person I took, loved it. I highly recommend it to everyone. The atmosphere afterwork is great, lots of amazing places to eat and you have a lot of choices: do you fancy Chinese? Caribbean? American? Or you just want to go for a drink? Whichever you prefer, they have it there.

I adore this little gem. I feel like not many people know about it, but a trip to The Rum Kitchen took me here and on a sunny day, it was hard to leave! It has that laid-back holiday vibe about it, with little nooks and crannies and benches for al fresco dining. You’ll find bars, independent shops and restaurants amongst the 3 floors and even Triyogo at the very top. Eat your way through The Detox Kitchen, Shoryu and Pizza Pilgrims and satisfy your sweet tooth at Crumbs and Dollies. If you want a lunch spot off the beaten track, Kingly Court will be a nice (and tranquil) surprise.

Step off the tourist trap of Carnaby Street and enter the tranquility of Kingly Court. If Soho Square is a little too far to walk to then Kingly Court should be next on your list to pitch up & enjoy lunch al-fresco. There are a few benches for public but other seating is designated for the restaurants... best to avoid whipping your picnic out.

Visited The Beauty Lounge in Kingly Court to get my eyebrows threaded and tinted. They did a great job, although the treatment room is a little cramped.

Prices are reasonable for this treatment and they do try and squeeze you in if they can. Plenty of shops to have a look round whilst you're waiting! Some quirky vintage finds upstairs, lovely coffee shops and bars down stairs too.

I wouldn't say I have a favourite beauticians to visit (unlike a hairdresser when you wouldn't dream of seeing anyone else) - they did a good job, yes, but didn't offer anything that would keep me a regular customer. Great for if you're passing by though.

Kingly Court, what a little gem of a find! We came across this treasure by accident on a trip to London. We revisit as often as we can and love wandering around the shops here. Try and get in to the Tea shop on the upper floor, it's amazing! Love this quiet corner.
