The shelves of James Craven’s pretty Belgravia boutique are laden with wares by prestigious perfumers, including stalwarts like Annick Goutal, Creed, and lesser-known makes from traditional French and Italian perfume houses, such as Frédéric Malle’s Editions de Parfums. One of the shop’s attractions is the care given to those selecting gifts for others. Craven builds up a profile of the intended recipient by asking questions about looks, personality, favourite colours and even food. This personal approach is what sets the family-run business apart from other perfume shops. Les Senteurs always supplies a sample with each sale so that the perfume can be tested before the bottle is opened.

One of the most amazing perfumeries ever. An amazing range of hard to get hold of perfumes and other scented goodies.

As a self proclaimed scentie (oh yes this is a thing!), this is a must-go shop. They have a wide range of perfumes from boutique perfume houses and they take great care in sourcing the best. I could spend hours in this shop. In their marelybone shop they have workshops to learn more about your sense of smell.

You will not find any of your standard designer brand perfumes here which is arguably a good and a bad thing. The perfumes do come at a price however the quality of the perfumes are much higher than most of the perfumes you will find in the department stores.
