Time Out says

Founded by Louise Nason, Melt has had a few notable chocolatiers at its helm since opening in 2006, but currently heading the kitchen is Chika Watanabe. Colourfully glam packaging is bang-on what you’d expect for this corner of Notting Hill. but there’s real substance to the range too. Also hard to resist is textile designer Celia Birtwell’s Dinky cat design, stencilled on to milk chocolate lollipops.

My kids did the chocolate lollipop making in Easter with John. They absolutely enjoyed the experience and not only did they get to make, taste and decorate the chocolate they also got to hear about the history of it. It was a fabulous experience and John was very knowledgeable and helpful. It really was an amazing experience. We will be back!

Tastemaker

This is a chocolate shop to hunt down! Amazing selection of flavours - all good quality.

The service on Saturday was a little lacking - they weren't rude but weren't friendly.
The chocolates are displayed beautifully and there is an area out the back where they hold chocolate making sessions (definitely for kids - not sure about adults?).
There is also a little area at the front with chairs outside and a little throw in the window where you can sit with a hot drink (their coffee isn't great) and nibble some of their delicious chocolates.
Really recommend their caramels at £1 a pop - sooo buttery and creamy! The chocolate flavoured one was delicious but they also have some fruity flavours that sounds good!
At the moment they have lovely Easter chocolates - eggs wrapped it brightly coloured foil and bunnies, chicks and lambs in dark, milk & white. Perfect for spoiling a loved one over Easter.
