To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Miller Harris, creator and founder Lyn Harris created four new fragrances in each of the four main fragrance familes: citrus, floral, woody and oriental. Her use of only the finest natural materials in her unisex eaux de parfum, eaux de toilette, body oils and body lotions, together with the gorgeous packaging, makes the perfumes some of the best quality and most covetable on the market, and have earned her a slew of discerning fans. Harris, who undertook years of formal training in both Paris and Grasse, sources raw ingredients from all over the world. Her iris comes from Florence, the violet leaf from France, jasmine from Egypt, while the particular orange flower she favours is Tunisian. Harris eschews the idea of a signature scent, instead using the phrase ‘wardrobe of scents’ to describe her philosophy of choosing scents depending on mood and occasion. Perfumes from the original range of 12, divided up by ‘family’, are still some of the bestsellers; all are completely individual and evocative – we’re big fans of Fleur Oriental, Geranium Bourbon and Figue Amère.
