The owners of MW Classic Cameras, Mahendra Modi and David Woodford (hence the company name), are enthusiastic and knowledgeable. They sell rare and collectable cameras and photographic equipment, with a wide range of brands stocked, including Hasselblad, Pentax, Rollei and Voigtlander, as well as an interesting selection of old Soviet-era cameras. Of course, pride of place goes to Leica, and there are many collectable examples for sale. MW also sells some fascinating examples of old plate and box cameras. There’s a mail-order service available if you can’t make it to the shop.

Your order, and after a couple of weeks you email them asking about your order. No reply. Email again. No reply
As a last resort, you generate charge back via credit card or Paypal, and suddenly you get a reply "oh we have sold most of that stuff. Do you want that remaining one item out of 7?"
Get your act together guys. It has been like this for several years now!
Awkward to purchase something through their website - despite advertising acceptance of cards you have to place an order, then they (supposedly) ring you up and take your card details - I waited for the call for 5 days, nothing. I rang them and he took payment, then I had to ring again another 5 days later to get them to bother sending it to me. When the camera arrived, it was sort of as stated - advertised with fungus, but also advertised as working- which it's not - the shutter sticks to hell. What really shows how much they checked over the camera before they sent it out, is the fact that it still had half a roll of film left in it. Probably not going to order again.
MW definitely deserves five stars - helpful, knowledgeable and competitive prices - there shop is a gold mine for dusty old camera users like me
