Antique gold wallcoverings and black glass chandeliers give the Ormonde Jayne store a sumptuous look that befits the rich scents created by Linda Pilkington. Pilkington is passionate about her trade, sourcing ingredients herself in the Far East and Africa. All components are free from mineral oils, parabens and GM products, and staff are happy to discuss which scents would best suit you. There are just 14 to choose from; our favourites include the elegant Champaca, with pink pepper and bamboo, and Ormande Woman. An extended range of scents is now available in the form of Parfum d’Or Naturel – concentrated, alcohol-free gold perfume purées with a base of natural sugars; smooth it over the décolletage and shoulders for an incandescent effect with a lasting fragrance. There are also body lotions, bathing oils, scented candles and travel sets, consisting of four purse-size 10ml vials of fragrance.
