I have been visiting this salon for years, the therapists are friendly and there is a good selection of treatments. Great for a hot wax.
Terrible service! Was lured in by the best business award in the window. Had booked for a bikini wax, however didn't specify it was a Brazilian until I got there - was rudely told by the girl that she didn't have time to give me a Brazlian and could only give me the most expensive wax as that is all she knew how to do. Bearing in mind it was my first experience there, I had no idea of the variety. When I asked to look at the price list as I was happy with standard strip wax - they didn't have one! It's all online apparently - forget about having one on the actual premises? Best Business Award? Ended up with another girl offering to do it for me as she 'knew' how to strip wax. Overall experience resulted in a below average brazlian wax that they tried to then charge me almost £30 for!! Save yourself the time;trouble and expense. There are plenty of other below average brazlian strip waxes you could get on the high street with equally bad service - only, they charge half the price.
My husband and I have been to the Remedie Rooms several times before and always found it to be a well run local business. I try to support local businesses so booked a treatment. I had feedback from my booking that they we concerned I would potentially no -show. I understand that small businesses need to keep a tight slot and dont want to waste a booking. Believe me I understand that. However, the manner of communication was rude and inappropriate. I followed up to say that i felt they needed to adjust their tone and have been involved in a ping pong email exchange where it has been made abundantly clear to me that this business has NO customer focus, and a poor understanding of customer service and they will not acknowledge that their tone was inappropriate.
