Selfridges: Shoe Galleries Anniversary and installation

As the trend for all things mini escalates to a (frankly disproportionate) height, Selfridges has stepped on board to cater for those with 10cm feet and a hefty trust fund. A miniature shoe collection is being created to celebrate the ten year anniversary of Selfridges' Shoe Galleries. Inspired by an advent calendar, an £18,000 bespoke cabinet is being made to house the mini creations and will be on show from the 20th of September. The full collection will be released in late October with a miniature Fendi baguette for £690 (that's £15 more than a Mulberry life-size Bayswater), £365 for AW11 Fendi heels, and for the more frugal fashionistas – £60 for Barbie-size Louboutins.
