Shopping, Perfumeries Bloomsbury

Time Out says

Friendly warning! We're working hard to be accurate. But these are unusual times, so please check that venues remain open.

Toni Horton’s bright shop is crammed full of keepsakes and accessories. Stock is of a feminine and romantic – yet mature – bent: think sophisticated, bead-encrusted evening bags, embroided scarves, girly toiletries bags, slipper socks, Cath Kidston-esque mugs and cake stands and heart-shaped mirrors. Books with titles such as Things to Do with Mum and Love Letters of Great Women continue the theme, ensuring that this place is a first-port-of-call for Mothers’ Day shopping. The jewellery, meanwhile, has a more youthful feel, featuring bead bracelets, heart charms and gobstopper-sized cocktail rings. High-end beauty and bath goodies include solid bars of fine Provençal soap. In the summer, head to the back garden for a pots and furniture.
