Never judge a market by its size. Strutton Ground may well be petite, and dwarfed by the surrounding office blocks, but it has a lot to offer. Spread over a distinctive cobbled street, the market stands provide local residents and nearby workers with an array of eclectic commodities – from clothes to flowers, jewellery to rugs and snacks to make-up – throughout the week. From 8am Strutton Ground is engulfed by the scent of coffee, and come lunchtime the stalls are ready for service. It’s also a pleasing place for a lunchtime stroll.

Strutton Ground Market is small in comparison to other markets situated around London. Despite it's size, they have a wide variety of delicious food and it hosts one of the best food stalls you'll find in London if you like your salads, the one and only Savage Salads! There's an Indian stall who sell a butter chicken special on a Tuesday, a dirty burger stall, a stall selling home comforts such a cottage pie and lasagna, and what would a food market be without a falafel man! You'll also find non-food related stalls selling clothes, not the best clothes you'll find at a market but you might find some bargains. There is also a stall that is there occasionally, selling kids books for £1 each. I've purchased books from here for a friend who is a child minder and she loved them!
