Making a stand against identikit high streets and bland, throwaway products, The Makers Trading Company are all about providing a platform for independent designer-makers and their high-quality, handmade wares. They’ve set up shop in Shoreditch lifestyle store One Good Deed Today, where they’ll be selling goods from Dalston Cola, Francli Craftwear, Haeckels, Hiut Denim, Portland Razor Co, Stay Gold Studios and Vakay Eyewear. Putting an interactive spin on the traditional shopping experience, a series of short films in-store allows customers to meet each maker and learn about their production processes.
