Time Out says

Thanks to a fruitful Kickstarter campaign, The Peanut Vendor managed to upscale from a charming furniture shop in Stoke Newington to this showroom and cafe on the edge of Victoria Park and the canal. Here you'll find luxuriously stylish midcentury furniture that is priced like much of the rest of it around the city – highly. But you get quality stuff for your money, and anyone who knows their midcentury items insideout will have a field day. Pieces on offer range from telephone seats and dining chairs to tube lights, textiles and tiny things such as hand-whittled spoons.

As well as a discerning selection of homeware, in their coffeeshop TPV sell a rotating variety of beans by the likes of Alchemy, The Barn and Sundlaug, amongst others, while teas come courtesy of Good and Proper Tea. Pastries and bread is supplied by local producers Yeast and Bried, cakes are by Victoria Yum and lunch options are also on offer.

What a lovely cafe the peanut vendor is! Right next to Victoria Park, great coffee, nice furniture and pleasant staff. There's some outdoor seating if you're lucky with the weather. Perfect spot to have a break from a stroll in Victoria Park, do some people-watching and have some good coffee or cake! Not to mention the plants.

Amazing selection of furniture - friendly people and excellent coffee, a great place for a lazy Sunday.

Incredible coffee and welcoming staff. Even have 'Good and Proper tea' for those who don't like the caffeine hit. 5 star

I LOVE THE PEANUT VENDOR. There is no better place to spend a weekend morning, followed by a walk in the park. Delicious food, beautiful furniture and carefully-selected candles and other pieces, this is so worth a visit.

Lovely things for sale and a great place to hang out and have a delicious coffee

One of the best shops / coffee spots in London, let alone Bow. Such great taste. An independent business run by lovely people that put so much effort and love into what they do and how they do it. If you can't make it there regularly, check their ace website and newsletters. Top notch.

Who in their right mind could resist The Peanut Vendor? They found the perfect mix! Gorgeous mid-century furniture and design sourced by brilliant owners Becky and Barney, coupled with the most wonderful coffee and a raft of other lovely things to drink and eat. The kind of place you want to stay all day, chatting, reading, working and hanging out, surrounded by beautiful things. Those lucky enough to live in the area know they have a treasure!

Delicious coffee, beautiful furniture, wonderful cakes, incredible candles.

The Peanut Vendor is simply the best source of beautiful mid century furniture and ahomeware in London. The owners are knowledgable and friendly, the super cool stock is constantly refreshed and there's a great coffee bar inside the store.
