The Porchester Spa, loacted in a spectacular 1929 building, is one of London’s more authentic spa experiences - benefited from a new ventilation system, re-tiled steam room and bigger sauna since its refurbishment in 2006. But but don’t expect the fluffy-white towel and ambient-music experience. This is the spa to come to if you like pools (they have a proper swimming pool, plus a plunge pool for cooling off after a stint in one of the three Turkish hot rooms). People – including lots of local men – come here for no-nonsense treatments (like the Hot Towels Treatment ) at affordable prices, including wraps, facials and massages.

A true oasis in West London.  You can tell from the decor that it's seen better days, but all the facilities worked like a charm and I left feeling very relaxed and revitalised.  The price isn't too shabby either.

A bit rough round the edges but this place has a faded charm which I rather like. The steam rooms are usually sufficiently intense and the cold plunge afterwards is guaranteed to transform your mood into one of joy and calm. The plastic plants which dangle from the ceiling are looking very tired and should be erased.

Been here many times. Dont let the un salubroius entrance fool you. Once you enter you have entered another world, it is absalutley beautifull. The massage i get here is consisitently very good. I was speeking to the manager Niki ( a lovely ladey!) about her therpists, she only uses therapists form 5 star hotel spas or with at least 5 years experience. A winning venue the best massage therpists in London, a beautiful setting, no appointment needed, and
