If the homogenous high street is getting you down, try injecting a little independent spirit into your shopping with a visit to this fair which showcases Britain's best boutique and independent specialist shops. Hundreds of exhibitors will be presenting their unique wares, from fashion and accessories, to furniture, toys, soft furnishings and artisan food. Workshops and demonstrations include a lesson in tying a bouquet with the Dorchester’s chief florist Phil Hammond, and a how-to on mixing chocolate and herbs with chocolatier Paul A Young. Home interior and garden experts will be on hand with advice, and you can find further inspiration at the fair's five room sets and outdoor city garden. There will also be a pop-up Mosimann’s Summer Restaurant, a more accessible food hall and a champagne and Pimm's bar for a little pick-me-up.
