TK Maxx
With more than 240 stores in the UK and Ireland, TK Maxx is clearly well-frequented by shoppers looking for designer bargains and affordable fashion. One of its most recent openings, TK Maxx on Charing Cross Road, is routinely packed with men and women rummaging through stuffed rails, or scouring the substantial shoe floor for discounted shoes and trainers. Try to leave plenty of time if you're on the hunt for a good deal, as it can take a while to find something worth taking to the till. There are plenty of departments to tackle too, including menswear, womenswear, underwear, handbags, kidswear and a brilliant homewares section, as well as shoes, sports clobber and accessories.

TK Max is THE place where you find bargains in London! Designers' shoes, bags, clothes...all for very reasonable prices and (most of the times) in perfect condition. Ok, the shop is a mess and you need a lot of patience to go around and find something interesting but rest assured you won't go home empty handed.

Another thing I love about this place is their home section, with really good cutlery, glasses, duvets, and so on, for amazing prices. Definitely worth a visit, you will find amazing deals!

SHOES SHOES SHOES!! this is the place I come to when I want to add to my shoe collection. Yes it is difficult to shop because everything is a mess. But this is why it is called a bargain basement. The shopping experience isnt the most pleasant, and it might seem like a chore, but the whole fun is in the treasure hunting for a great pair on discount right? With big labels for shoes, bags, jackets, shirts, trousers etc, you can finally get access to them at much cheaper prices. Most of them are in good condition, but I have gotten one or two items that have scuff marks on them. Overall, this is one of the most value for money shops you can find in London. Definitely worth popping in if you are bargain hunting or on a tight budget.

Clothes! Soap! Socks! Woks! Duvets! Weird jars full of coloured pasta! It's TK Maxx - it's cheap, it's cheerful! It's in central London! What more do you want?
