Well-selected pieces are the order of the day here, whether it’s 1970s chrome pendant lights or collectable Charles Eames wooden chairs. Some 20th-century shops can feel like a bit of a mixed bag, but there’s a definite style here. The appealing corner site is owned by Tommy Roberts (who made his name with the cult Carnaby Street interiors shop Kleptomania in the 1960s) and is run by his son Keith. Expect to find well-known names such as Arne Jacobsen and Willy Rizzo among the stock as well as more affordable pieces (Danish 1960s leather sofas in slender, elegant shapes for around £850, and rosewood desks of the same period for £1,500).
