Little more than a dozen stallholders regularly trade at this neighbourhood market, with an excellent rota of other producers who turn up sporadically, which might include The Garlic Farm, Ladywell Organics (meat) or Norbury Blue (cheeses). There’s always something interesting for sale; the Hand Picked Shellfish Company might be wowing the locals with shark meat, while Alham Wood Cheeses does a brisk trade in unpasteurised cow’s milk, though these aren’t available every week. You’ll do well veg-wise at this market – Horti Halycon always has some fantastic seasonal produce, such as delicate bags of emerald organic rocket, or fresh crunchy turnips, and there are a couple of other veg stalls too, currently selling seasonal rarities such as cob nuts.

A well established farmers' market with an excellent variety of high quality meat, fish, cheese, bread, vegetables, herbs and salads - all you could wish for locally!
Great addition to the locality. They sell British vegetables that you know haven't added to your carbon foot print. Apple galore and a better choice than the supermarket..I recommend Katie and Discovery.
Pastries, bread, organic meat, shellfish and vegetables all in one playground. Explore it!
I love my local farmers market filled with great quality produce that's not over priced. I've got to know many of stall holders over time who are just lovely and very friendly
Wimbledon Park Farmers Market is an excellent, well-run and comprehensive market, offering a wonderful and interesting choice of quality, seasonal produce. And everyone is SO friendly
The friendliest market I have been to with some awesome variety of food stalls. I go every Saturday and would be hard pressed to miss it!
Great produce and always warm, friendly and knowledgable stallholders and looked after by Nikkie Hartop most efficiently.
I vote for this market for the main reason that it is run by the kindest, gentlest and humblest person you could ever hope to meet. She is Nicola Cradock-Hartopp and she always has time for everyone - stallholders and customers alike - and has run this marvelous market for many years. She is one in a million and I truly believe that the success of the Wimbledon Park Farmers Market is down to her. She deserves a really special prize.
Instead of the increasingly tasteless food being sold in our supermarkets the produce being sold on the stalls in this friendly little market is great. I buy as much of my meat and veg there as I possibly can every week and dip in and out of the other stalls as well. Nice to be served with a smile, a pleasant word and enthusiasm for your business as well.
