If you prefer complaining about the tush push to complaining about VAR, you’re in luck, because American football is returning to Old Blighty this autumn. The Minnesota Vikings, Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos, New York Jets, Los Angeles Rams and Jacksonville Jaguars are all making their way across the Atlantic for three huge fixtures at London’s largest stadiums – Wembley and Tottenham Hotspur. The games are taking place across three weekends as part of NFL’s International Series, bringing America’s uniquely confusing hybrid of ‘soccer’ and rugby to audiences beyond the US of A. So get your hands on a jersey, load up on hotdogs and practise your rallying cries of ‘DUUUVAL!’ or ‘Skol!’ – the Americans are about to touchdown in London town.
