BOOM Cycle

The second BOOM Cycle branch brings the high octane exercise craze to Holborn. The bike-based spinning classes are set to a nightclub soundtrack. Workouts are intense, fun and guaranteed to raise your endorphin levels. BOOM Cycle call on the biggest London DJs and record labels to host special editions of the sweaty spinning classes, too.

I've been a long time fan of Boom Cycle and this new branch in Holborn has only upped my enthusiasm. The whole concept is perfect if you're anything like me and you want to get the most out of your time when it comes to exercise.

The classes: First things first, these are not easy but they are great fun! If you're looking for a class that pushes you to your limits no matter what your fitness level then boom is for you. The music is always pumping and you move in time to the beat which means that often you forget that you're working as hard as you are and you focus more on staying with the beat. It's as challenging as you make it and the instructors are all as upbeat and encouraging as each other!

The facilities: I have to say that the Holborn branch is a step up from the shoreditch flagship in terms of comfort and facilities. The changing rooms are lovely, with private changing options available, seperate showers and luxury ren products for all to use. You also don't have to worry about bringing shoes or towels as both are provided. They also provide hairdryers (dyson - very fancy), straighteners, deodorant, batiste, cotton pads, You can even order a smoothie to be ready to collect when you leave your class. In short they've pretty much thought of everything,

Price: It's not cheap but I personally think its great value for money. At the very least their intro offer of £29 for three classes is pretty competitive and its definitely worth a try!
