A Kind Bowl

Meet a gallery of rogues in this play, performed as part of the Transcend Festival at St Giles in the Field. Prisoners from Newgate prison were given the Bowl, a drink of beer at the Angel Inn before their public execution. Here we meet prisoners including the crime boss, a legendary escapee and a pickpocketer.
