Patrick Marber’s taut three-hander adaptation of Strindberg’s scorching drama of class and desire debuted in 1995 and has proved pretty enduring. It relocates the action to 1945 and Labour’s landslide victory, as the eponymous daughter of an MP throws herself into a disastrous fling with her father’s chauffeur. Dadiow Lin directs this revival starring Liz Francis as Julie, Tom Varey and Charlene Boyd.
