Alice in Wonderland

Kew’s summer theatrical extravaganza is a new stage version of Lewis Carroll’s beloved ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’ from Sixteenfeet Productions. Newcomer Elsie Bridgwood will follow up her stage debut in Theatre Royal Windsor’s ‘The Cement Garden’ to star as Alice, the young girl who has a series of very curious adventures after she falls down a rabbit hole. Presumably it will proceed much as the book does, though Bradley Cole’s adaptation features music by Guy Holden, with the entire cast of Francesca Murray-Fuentes’s production comprised of actor-musicians. For ages five-plus. Entry to the play includes entry to Kew (so really quite the bargain if you want to do both).
