[title]
With the Terry Gillian revival of ‘Into the Woods’ very literally cancelled, there are no big Stephen Sondheim revivals scheduled for London in the immediate aftermath of the great man’s death. But there is this fringe curiosity: ‘Anyone Can Whistle’, by Sondheim and Arthur Laurents is a 1964 satire about a small town in which the government controls literally everything. Alex Young plays greedy mayoress Cora Hoover Hooper in this revival from director Matthew Rankcom.
