Even if you did have the wherewithal to get yourself appointed captain of a spaceship, a supply run to the International Space Station is only going to be relatively exciting compared to embarking upon evasive maneuvers, blowing the crap out of some Romulan and making the leap to hyperspace. So this looks like a fun experience for sci-fi fans whatever the day job. “Mission Command’ put you and a group of pals on the bridge of a spaceship tasked with saving humanity. Work together and tackle various missions – and if you come back for more you’ll be able to continue the same story rather than simply repeat. The creation of fringe interactive company Parabolic Theatre, ‘Bridge Command’ is a mix of gaming and live theatre that'll have two versions: Military Mission – where you blow a lot of stuff up – and Exploration Mission – where you blow a bit less stuff up. There will also be a version for 11-16-year-olds running throughout the school holidays. Book tickets as if it were a regular theatre show and be paired up with strangers, or splash out for a private performance for up to 14 pals. Times vary.
