The London 2012 festival comes to a close with a bang… and a toot, parp and clash as 500 bandstands and public spaces around the country play host to a triumphant fanfare of music marking the end of the festival and the London Paralympics. London bandstands taking part include those at Battersea Park, Clapham Common, Regent's Park, Paddington Recreation Grounds, Victoria Park and the Olympic Park. At 2pm, as a prelude to the Paralympic Games Closing Ceremony concert which is headlined by Coldplay, musicians will join together to perform 'Viva La Vida'.
