Theatre company BAREtruth stage their first show as part of Theatre Uncut, the new writing project which opens in November at the Young Vic. Seven new plays have been written by established and emerging playwrights based on the question 'do we get more right wing in hard times?'. Plays include 'Pick One' by project regular Neil LaBute about three middle aged white guys who come up with a way to solve America's problems; 'Amanda' by 'Beats' playwright Kieran Hurley about a politician reflecting on how difficult decisions are made and 'Church Forced To Put Up Gates After Font Is Used As Wash Basin By Migrants' by comedian Mark Thomas.
