This mini-festival at Rich Mix is a vital celebration of black and minority ethnic performance. 2017's theme is Harlem, home to a jazz-fuelled flowering of African-American culture in the roaring twenties.
This year's line-up includes 'Invisible Man', an adaptation of novelist Ralph Ellison’s surreal masterpiece that stars George Eggay ('King Lear', Old Vic 2016). There will also be an appearance from cabaret performer Fancy Chance in 'Flights of Fancy', an experimental performance by Shabnam Shabazi called 'Body House (vers.iii)', and live poetry and jazz events.
