Screw 'Sweeney Todd' in an actual pie shop, here's 'Chicken Palace' in an actual chicken shop (or, rather, one created by Theatre Royal Stratford East). 'Chicken Palace' is a new play by east London playwright Lynette Linton, a one act thriller looking at stereotypes and post traumatic stress disorder as the audience sit in Singh's Chicken Palace where an incident gets staff and customers cowering behind the counter. Each ticket comes with a portion of chicken and chips or veggie alternative. Ages 14-plus.
