Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg

This new adaptation of one of Wagner's most famous operas has been cut down and reimaged by director Ella Marchment. She's moved its setting to WWII to depict the problematic relationship between Hitler and Wagner, as well as no doubt trimming its epic choruses to fit the constraints of a pub theatre.
