Leighton Carter's nostalgic musical about the 'glory days' of Britpop is, oddly, set in 1997, the year the entire scene went down the toilet. If follows the adventures of plucky young Camdenite Perry.

It was difficult not to be blown away by the freshness, attack and sheer energy of this show which knocks out a great roster of brand new songs which had the audience on their feet by the end. It was big, brash, loud, and totally infectious. We went to the Saturday matinee and sat in an audience that were crying out for the incredbile cast to return to the stage. The action was utterly convincing and compelling with a true sense of ensemble at its heart. This show really must have a further life, and I will support it all the way. A great way to spend a Saturday afternoon - even tried to get tickets to see it again in the evening, but it was sold out!

A great night's entertainment, full of energy, humour and pathos and some really good music too, especially the last number .... The Music Saved Us. The telephone scene between Fabio and Perry was classic misunderstanding comedy and very clever dialogue. Would love to go and see it again but now all sold out - really hope this show goes on to bigger things.

Really enjoyable show which a strong message about the down side of putting fame and fortune above family and friends. Deserves to be on a bigger stage!

If you remember well the 90's or have ever played in a band or love Britpop music, then you will love this show! It was about time someone wrote a show on the Brit-pop movement as it was a very exciting time for the UK because of the big social and political changes that proved to be crucial for the entire world, not only in terms of politics but mainly in terms of music, style and popular culture. A fantastic show from start to finish. Brilliant: I just loved the music and the humour. I went last night and wanted to buy tickets to go back on the last performance next Saturday right after I have seen the show! Sadly it is already sold out so I have gotten the one for the matinee at 2:30. I loved all the music and comedy. Brilliant cast, considering they are all drama students and they are performing it for free. This is a truly special ad rare opportunity to see something new and original. Go and see it!!
