Time Out says

Six German nuclear scientists are detained in an English country home in this dramatisation of WW2’s Operation Epsilon.

With the war in Europe over, a group of detailed German nuclear scientists are bored and puzzled at their confinement to the titular English stately home. Little do they know that the whole place is bugged, with the whole set-up an elaborate attempt to determine from the men’s conversations precisely how close Germany had come to discovering nuclear weapons during the war. Katherine Moar’s comic play is a comic dramatisation of the real-life Operation Epsilon, directed by Stephen Unwin, with a cast including Alan Cox and Forbes Masson.
