[title]
Charlie Josephine's tongue-in-cheek historical(ish) epic ‘I, Joan’ caused a stir at Shakespeare’s Globe last summer. ‘Flies’ is one they made earlier, that got delayed by the pandemic, a drama about the explosive, corrosive impact for girls of hitting puberty and suddenly being relentlessly targetted by the male gaze. Julia Head directs a cast of female-identifying students and alumni from The BRIT School.
