Time Out says

This remarkable piece of what one might possibly refer to as ‘diorama theatre’ was a hit at the 2017 Edinburgh International Festival, and uses dozens of tiny model scenes to bring to life Caroline Brothers’ 2012 novel ‘Hinterland’ about two young Afghan orphans’ epic journey to London. Epic and gorgeous, Vox Motus’s show contains no live actors, making it perfect social distanced programming. Staged at the Bridge, its London premiere is a collaboration with the Barbican.
