Pinter fans and autograph hunters alike will be delighted with this one-off gala. Not content with hosting a mega-season of Pinter revivals this Autumn, Harold Pinter Theatre is also assembling some of the biggest names in theatre and film to celebrate the playwright's big day. On Wednesday 10th October, Jamie Lloyd will direct a gala performance of extracts from Pinter's work, including Tom Hiddleston, Kit Harington, Simon Russell Beale, broadcaster Jon Snow, Jade Anouka, Kristin Scott Thomas, Frances de la Tour, Felicity Kendal, Indira Varma, Zawe Ashton, Gawn Grainger, Forbes Masson and Sheila Hancock.
They'll be joined by stars of the theatre's 'Pinter at the Pinter' season, including Tamsin Greig, Paapa Essiedu, and Lia Williams. 'Happy Birthday, Harold' will raise funds for Amnesty International and Chance to Shine, two of Pinter’s favourite charities.
