The world premiere of a new one-act opera based on the real-life events surrounding Dominique Strauss-Khan, former director of the IMF – the story of one the most powerful men in the earth, and what happens when his life starts crumbling around him. It is written by composer Luis Soldado and Portuguese novelist and comic-book writer Rui Zink. Rui Pinheiro conducts Lisbon Contemporary Music Ensemble. (Note: works by Portuguese composers Jorge Peixinho and Constança Capdeville, and RCM composer Pedro Faria Gomes are also played at this celebration of Portugese contemporary music.)
