Jermyn Street Theatre’s Christmas show is of course an adaptation of Frank Capra’s classic weepie about George Bailey, a suicidal man who ramshackle angel Clarence must persuade to live at Christmas time. It’s a revival of Anthony E Palermo’s intimate 2005 version, which is styled as a 1948 radio play. Jessica Lazar directs.
