There’s not a huge amount of information on the Lyric’s 2025 panto in terms of casting yet. But the good news is it reunites last year’s creative team of writer Sonia Jalaly and director Nicholai La Barrie – the panto often tweaks its personel to somewhat mercurial effect, but last year’s Aladdin was excellent: funny, warm, locally orientated and with the sharpest pop culture references in town.
