English National Opera presents Wolfgang Rihm's second chamber opera, which tells the story of 19 days during which writer Jakob Michael Reinhold Lenz stayed with a pastor, Johann Oberlin, in a pastoral mountain setting, hoping to overcome his schizophrenia. Sam Brown's new production stars Andrew Shore in the title role.
