After the NT's smash revival of 'Angels in America', here's another AIDS-era classic: Steven Dietz's affecting play, which first premiered in 1993. It follows two friends as they struggle to come to terms with the illness which decimated the gay community by shutting the world out. Their story unfolds in abstract, lyrical style, exploring ideas of loss and mortality. 'Lonely Planet' is revived at Trafalgar Studios in a production by Steven Dietz, starring Alexander McMorran and Aaron Vodovoz.
