Jeremy Irons and Lesley Manville star in Eugene O'Neill's masterpiece
Widely considered the very peak of the American theatre canon, the sheer quality of Eugene O'Neill's devastating 'Long Day's Journey Into Night' makes it a relatively frequent revival, despite its vast length and harrowing textures. This production is a transfer of the recent Bristol Old Vic production, which saw Jeremy Irons and Lesley Manville play the Tyrones, patriarch and matriarch of a shattered American family. The two stars are back on board as Richard Eyr's production hits London for a limited ten-week-season.
