This rough-around-the-edges basement venue is a simple set-up that hosts stand-up, sketch shows and the odd play. It's new and daring talent The Lowdown likes to nurture and you can see some great edgy acts here as well as top Edinburgh previews. The venue is programmed jointly with the estimable Hen & Chickens of Highbury Corner.
