Mandrake

A forerunner to the comedies of Shakespeare, 'Mandrake' first opened almost 500 years ago in Florence. In this farce by Machiavelli, Callimaco wants Lucrezia but Lucrezia is married to Sir Nicia. This is the first London revival of the play, which has been adapted by Howard Colyer, for 30 years.
