Here’s something to get your head around: ‘Marie Curie’ is a Korean musical about the eponymous pioneering Polish physist and chemist and discoverer of radium. Now receiving its English language premiere in a production directed by Sarah Meadows, the musical – by Seeun Choun and Jongyoon Choi – follows Curie’s discovery of the extraordinary element, and her mounting realisation of the danger it caused (which is maybe exaggerating how it was but a musical needs a plot eh).
