The Globe marks Refugee Week with a short Sam Wanamaker Playhouse run for this monologue written and performed by rising star director Jude Christian. She descibes it as ‘a theatre essay on mixed-race families, militant pacifism, and the Rape of Nanking’ (aka the the Nanking Massacre, in which Japanese troops slaughtered hundreds of thousands of Chinese and tried to cover it up).
