Inspired by the story of Noah's Ark, this joyful family show is a collaboration between Theatre Royal Stratford East and ENO, which is increasingly taking opera to new and unusual locales. Composer Benjamin Britten's 'Noye's Fludde' mixes dark and discordant music with joyful passages that conjure up all the animals survived the flood. It includes plenty of roles for kids, a community chorus, and a full orchestra, with West End director Lyndsey Turner steering the ship.
