Oleanna

David Mamet’s provocative drama about a seemingly innocent conversation between a professor and his student that spirals into a life-destroying sexual harassment suit is certainly nothing if not still timely. Nobody is ever going to accuse Mamet of flying the flag for #MeToo, but despite upsetting many, ‘Oleanna’ has proved to be a more subtle and searching play than it’s given credit for, written by a playwright still at the height of his powers. c an acclaimed transfer from Theatre Royal Bath, directed by Lucy Bailey.
