Time Out says

A modern re-imagining of 'Peer Gynt', Henrik Ibsen's surreal fairy tale about a wandering man, where the protagonist is a boisterous rock star. There are rock star credentials behind the show too, as the piece came from the imagination of Peter Brook's daughter Irina Brook, while she was in a relationship with Iggy Pop in New York in the 1980s. Theatre National de Nice and Brook have now realised the idea with this show which is adapted and directed by Brook, with two new songs from Iggy Pop and twelve new poems from Pulitzer-prize winner Sam Shepard. Ages 12+.
