Cheryl L West’s ’40s Harlem-set reworking of Twelfth Night – featuring the songs of Duke Ellington – was a modest Stateside hit in the ’90s and now gets its much delayed UK premiere from the Talawa theatre company and its artistic director Michael Buffong. It should inject a bit of buzz into the Lyric Hammersmith at the tail end of January.
