Time Out says

A rare straight run for a piece of theatre for cabaret-orientated Underbelly Boulevard. Well, ‘straight’ might not be the word exactly: a hit at the Edinburgh Fringe last year, for Dylan MarcAurele’s Pop Off, Michelangelo! is a high camp comedy musical set in Renaissance Italy that follows BFFs turned rivals Michaelangelo and Leonardo Da Vinci as they join forces to evade a bloodthirsty friar who seeks to execute them for their homosexuality. Can the duo get things square with God and escape their fate? With a banging electropop score this is, clearly, a very silly show, but if it sounds up your street, it probably is.
