Princess Mononoke

Returning to the New Diorama after a sold out run in April, this adaptation of Hayao Miyazaki's potent, epic film made by Studio Ghibli in 1997 uses giant puppets made from recycled materials and live music to tell the story of the young warrior Ashitaka who has been cursed by a demon god. Whole Hog theatre company perform the show, which is the first ever staging of Miyazaki's ecological fable.
